I’ve lived a rich and varied life. I spent 15 years as a fashion model, working haute couture and pret-a-porter in Europe, East and Southeast Asia, as well in the United States of America.
Before my time as a fashion model, I owned a beauty salon for 10 years – having earned my license from the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmotology in 1968.
Along the way, I earned a B.A. in English Literature: graduating with a 4.0 GPA, receiving the honor of Summa cum Laude. Since then, I have become a published author with two more book projects.
A native of California, I enjoyed living on the West Coast, and enjoyed living on the East Coast in Washington, District of Columbia. Plus, I’ve lived in Central Texas. For a short period, I lived in Oklahoma before moving to Guanajuato, Gto., Mexico. And now, I’m living in beautiful Barcelona, Spain. My travels have taken me to 18 countries and counting, giving me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and ways of life.
In addition to my personal pursuits, I co-pastor an online church, ZChurch (www.ZChurch.life). I have more than 20 years of experience working with not-for-profit organizations, as an administrator, manager, event-planner, and much more. I’m also a trained and licensed protocol and etiquette advisor, which as enhanced my belief of the importance of grace in all aspects of life.
Oh yes, I have a beautiful family who believe in me, and I thrive on their love and support. Thus, my life experiences have shaped me into a compassionate and curious individual. I am excited to share with you what I learned – will continue to learn – about the world we live in, to help you live your life to the fullest!
